TL;DR

Creating a page in WordPress takes a few clicks: log into wp-admin, go to Pages > Add New, enter a title, add your content and media in the editor, optionally pick a page template and featured image, then hit Publish. It's a basic but essential WordPress skill any site owner can handle without developer help.

It’s very easy to create pages in WordPress. There are a few simple steps to do this:

  1. You need to login to your WordPress admin panel. The URL for the admin panel will typically be “yourdomain.com/wp-admin”.
  2. Once logged in, you will see the dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a Pages option on the left side. Click on that link.
  3. This will show the list of all existing pages. At the top, you will see the ADD NEW button.
  4. Click on the ADD NEW button. It will open a new window where you will find the following:
    • Title field: Enter your page title here.
    • Description box: This is the editor where you can add text and format headings. You can also add images or videos by clicking the “Add Media” button.
    • Template: You can choose a specific page template from the attributes section on the right side.
    • Featured Image: You can set a featured image to represent your page.

After following these steps, you just need to click on the Publish Button to make the page live.

Give these steps a try! If you still face any problems, please feel free to leave a comment below.

Once your page structure is in place, some sites need to go further — building a multilingual WordPress site without plugins shows how to extend that structure to serve multiple languages.
